Überyou and The High Times toured Central Asia in 2024, performing in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Turkey—regions rarely included in mainstream music circuits. Filmed by Tom Gibbons, the documentary captures both the bands’ journey and the cultural exchange that unfolds along the way. The film offers an intimate look at a vibrant yet endangered underground music scene and the communities that sustain it.

About The Film
In the spring of 2024, Überyou and The High Times set off on a journey through Central Asia, playing shows in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Turkey.
Places rarely included on most bands’ touring routes — yet places that have long deserved their spot.
Along the way, new friendships were formed, unforgettable nights were lived, adventurous journeys were taken, and some of the best times were shared. To capture this unique experience, every moment of the tour was filmed by close friend and camera hero Tom Gibbons.
The result is a very intimate portrait — not only of the bands, but especially of the local people who are part of a vibrant yet endangered underground scene. A film about music, movement, and the communities that keep independent culture alive.
